Pin Function Matrix
Standard pinout assignments for programming clamp
| Pin | Signal Name | Function & Wire Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A0 | Device Address Input 0 (Connect to GND) |
| 2 | A1 | Device Address Input 1 (Connect to GND) |
| 3 | A2 | Device Address Input 2 (Connect to GND) |
| 4 | GND | Ground (0V Reference) |
| 5 | SDA | Serial Data Input / Output (Pull-up with 4.7kΩ to VCC) |
| 6 | SCL | Serial Clock Input (Pull-up with 4.7kΩ to VCC) |
| 7 | WP | Write Protect (Connect to GND to allow write) |
| 8 | VCC | Power Supply (+3.3V or +5.0V) |
In-Circuit Clamp Flashing Diagnostics & Tips
If reading all FF: Clamp is misaligned or Pin 8 (VCC) is not making solid contact.
If reading all 00: Short circuit on SDA/SCL pins or voltage jumper is at 0V.
Cannot Write / Flash Error: Pin 7 (WP / Write Protect) is pulled high to 5V on the board. Temporarily ground Pin 7 to GND to unlock write.
